My own personal experience makes me as a candidate more qualified for the position available than the other candidates. As a teacher I bring unique view from the perspective of someone who came to teaching later in life. This quality gives me more life experience and maturity than other beginning teachers.

ReplyDeleteAs a teacher I seek collaboration and feedback from others that is necessary for me to grow both as an educator and as an individual.
1) You should hire me because of my extra dedication and experience. First, the Transition to Teaching program I went through involved a lot of sacrifice, which shows that I have dedication to the field and I needed strong time management skills to finish the program. Second, I have a lot of content knowledge and real world experiences that can make the material seem more applicable and less abstract to the students.

I've consulted with others for their ideas and I have shared what I have done as well. We've worked together to find the best way to reach the students.
